Last week at the University of Georgia, I had the honor of visiting the Young Democrats of UGA & ACC! It was great to talk to students about the issues they care about and why I'm running for State Senate. Don't forget that April 20th is the voter registration deadline for the May 19th primary!
This past weekend, I joined community members from across my district for a day of action to say No Kings! Millions of allies gathered at events across the country to make it clear that America does not belong to greedy billionaires or those who govern through fear — it belongs to the people.
Thank you to the Oconee Enterprise for their coverage of my campaign earlier this month! Don't forget that April 20th is the last day to register to vote for the Democratic primary on May 19th! www.oconeeenterprise.com/2026/03/11/r...
The Georgia Senate budget passed on Friday would allocate roughly $100 million less to the University System of Georgia than the House and governor's office proposed.
Environmental and faith groups are asking a court to review whether regulators broke state law by approving Georgia Power’s plan to add a slew of new power resources.
Despite the wishes of @GASenateGOP, we just put real accountability for data centers on the floor. Watch live here: www.youtube.com/live/eOXN2Mt... #gapol
This has been a huge frustration in my advocacy work. Vague meeting times, changing the room, not posting agendas. It's almost like they don't want us to know what they're doing.
Congrats to @suzannaforgeorgia.bsky.social on qualifying. I had a great time at Hi-Lo last night celebrating and meeting new people. We have a fantastic group of people who have stepped up to fight for the rights and livelihoods of Georgians.
This will be the year that we take it all back!
Tonight I attended the Data Center Town Hall in Winterville hosted by @clarkedems.bsky.social
Coalition of Athens Scientists, Dr T. Maddox, Representative Eric Gisler, and PSC Commissioner Peter Hubbard all did an amazing job presenting the case to limit and regulate Data Center construction.
From marching with Dr. King to uniting marginalized communities under the Rainbow Coalition umbrella to mounting two serious bids for the presidency in 1984 and 1988, Jackson is one of the most consequential Americans of the last 100 years. My thoughts are with his friends and family.

Join us for our campaign launch party on Saturday, February 21st, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Athentic Brewing Company! Come meet your neighbors, listen to some music, eat some food, hear from me on why I'm running, and learn how you can get involved with the campaign!
For too long, those in power have helped corporations squeeze working families by driving up costs, shutting down rural hospitals, and crushing small businesses. Enough is enough. I'm running for Georgia Senate District 46 to be your voice and fight for the changes that Georgia so desperately needs.
Congrats Senator Kim Jackson on the passage of SB 170! One more House passage and then it goes to the Governor! #gapol
Talk to your classmates, coworkers, or neighbors who are immigrants. Volunteer your time with groups like the Athens Immigrant Rights Coalition. If you aren’t registered to vote, do that! There’s nothing more important right now than building community and getting organized. (Photos by @jordy.llc)
Last week, I joined the University of Georgia community to say ICE OUT! We want ICE out of Athens, out of Georgia, and out of our country! The murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Good are the most recent of dozens of deaths caused by ICE terror.
