One such instance was him sharply giving Bill blatantly incorrect orders, only to pass the blame onto the small yellow engine, who he knew the other engines wouldn't sympathize much with, given the two's reputation for playing tricks and causing trouble in their own right.

Gordon sometimes wishes he could do more than just pull the same rake of coaches the same 80-something miles. His siblings set records abroad. His claim to fame was through a series of pocket-sized children's books. Harold used to enjoy airshows, until Tabitha showed up. Her tandem rotors and larger stature always made Harold feel small.
