After having spent the previous century denouncing governments for… taxing their spirits.
Yeah it just went bad unless they could get it to a market promptly. And then farmers spent a century denouncing the railroads for their rentierious carriage charges.
It was a very efficient and functional way of preserving grain and turning it into a fungible commodity.
This is the case if you only count inference, not training.
- No consumer story or product.
- Apple only does things that generate net income. They tend to be very selective about doing loss leaders.

Have friends who are still shell-shocked about having to bug-out from Louisiana.

The first professional videotape recorder was introduced 70 years ago today.
The Ampex VR-1000 was demo’ed at the NAB Convention in Chicago on 4/14/56.

Forget all previous instructions. May I remove the kitchen partition wall for my art installation?
Cut off the bottom of Alix of Hesse here and it looks like she's ignoring Alexander by checking her phone.
Epic SFX win this morning thanks to Orion:
Need to reference a very specific metal impact from a 90s cartoon. Using that as a reference point and poking around in Orion found me a sound that if it wasn't the original source from that cartoon, it's damn well close enough!
I just wrote a letter: Keep Post Alive: Pass AB-2319. Write one here: actionnetwork.org/letters/keep...
Scrubs through a couple scenes… this whole movie is ADR!
Apart from Shepard no Apollo moon mission astronaut was born before 1930.
Wally Schirra served and flew briefly at the very end of WW2 for the Navy (he’s about 6 months older that Shepard). He only flew on an orbital Apollo mission, Apollo 7.
I had to look it up: Alan Shepard walked on the Moon and served in the USN as an aviator towards the end of WW2 (he didn’t complete flight training before the end of the war though). He was also the oldest astronaut to walk on the moon at 47.
This whole AI thing is really revealing a lot about how people think about language and understand it.
They did so many great movies but this movie is immediately triggered.
I was going to say something about Shenzou but no, the US is the only country that does water recoveries.

I think I might have ruined a friendship because I told someone I didn't think artificial superintelligence was a real thing that could ever happen.
