They use an off shore receptionist for my new PT office.
I do find that a bit repugnant.

Today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is #Petals&Perches any bird with flowers in capture.
When I think of birds and flowers raptors generally don't come to mind but here's a Striated Caracara perched in a thicket of gorse. From the Falkland Islands where the raptor is native but the gorse introduced. 🪶
Pink Footed Geese
The alt theme today is #WhatTheFlock for #BirdOfTheDay so here we have a very large flock of Pink Footed Geese at WWT Martin Mere #birds #thegardenjungle #wildlifephotography #birdwatching #shropshire #UKwildlife #birdphotography #canon #photography
Six tiny cygnets cluster together in a tight, companionable huddle on a gently rippling pond. Their bodies are rounded puffballs of pale yellow, cream, and warm sandy-grey down, the classic colouring of newborn mute swan (Cygnus olor) chicks in their very first days of life. Already sporting proportionally large, blunt bills, one or two have their mouths slightly open as if chattering to each other. Staying close is instinct: newly hatched cygnets huddle for warmth and protection. The water makes for a stunning, painterly backdrop. Deep steel-blue in the foreground gradually gives way to vivid, swirling streaks of emerald and jade, where the surface mirrors the green of overhanging foliage. The gentle wave patterns ripple outward from the chicks, adding movement and depth, while the soft, impressionistic wash of reflected colour makes the fluffy, still bodies pop with warmth and life. Shot from a slightly elevated angle with a shallow depth of field, the composition keeps the eye firmly on the cygnets while letting the shimmering background blur into abstraction. The mood is one of pure springtime tenderness, new life, soft textures, and cool water light all coming together in one irresistible frame.
Today’s theme for #BirdOfTheDay is #WhatTheFlock, says Alan @alan678.bsky.social, so here’s half a dozen of irresistible little cygnets dabbling around in a pond in my favorite park.

Fifteen juvenile black bellied whistling ducks among bright green leafy ground-covering plants. They hold their heads high, alert and watching. They are mostly brown with gray heads and black bills and dark crown stripes. They are very cute.
I tried to get them all in a row but this is the best I could do #whattheflock #birdoftheday #birds
A large, dense flock of mallard ducks (and one american black duck) fill the air as they explode into flight.
Going with the Alt theme of #WhatTheFlock (any capture of three or more of the same bird) for today's #BirdOfTheDay photo. This is what happens when you're photographing ducks at a park and someone comes along with their dog off leash.

Today's alternative #BirdOfTheDay theme is #WhatTheFlock. A flock of Sandhill Cranes at dusk during autumn migration in #Saskatchewan, Canada.

Enforced delay on my entry for today's #BirdoftheDay by @robcrank68.bsky.social. I'm going with the #headshots theme; here's a Tufted Duck showing off its tuft and a nice bit of green gloss.

I love it when you manage to sneak around the front of a butterfly and catch it nicely backlit. For some reason you can't do that with birds...
Here's a perky Sooty Copper for Rina's #ButterflyWeek. Have a great weekend, all you butterfly fans....
@rina2012.bsky.social
Yes!!
I can't let Rina's #ButterflyWeek go by without posting one of their Lepidoptera cousins: a moth. Moths are often tiny, hard to spot but just as beautiful as butterflies in their colours and patterns. Here's one of my favourites: the Mint Moth. @rina2012.bsky.social
For the #DucksOutofWater theme by @alan678.bsky.social for today's #BirdoftheDay here's a Red-Crested Pochard not looking terribly pleased at the arrival of an impertinent photographer.

Snow geese in Ontario, Canada.
For the alt #BirdOfTheDay theme #WhatTheFlock. Here is part of a massive flock of 40 thousand Snow Geese in Eastern Ontario, Canada. #birds #birding #nature #birdphotography #Ontario #Canada 🍁
I had grandkids which really made me look at the amount of violence and evil that seemed to take over the magic. I now think she is just creepy, mean, selfish. Sad, it really is.
I hate disappointment. Like Clapton.... horrible.
