Sorry to post this for those who abhor seeing this kind of news about wildlife. But while we are collectively agonizing over the state of our nation, the state of our planet is probably the more urgent news.
I too am saddened as our mail carriers have all been really pleasant daily "visitors". I suspect they would notice if we changed habits or neglected taking in our mail.....and would likely "check" on us.
