I was just think this exact thing and wondering if I could make croutons in the air fryer at the same time as I caramelise the onion I just sliced up and chucked in it @ 180°C, think I might substitute a can of Oxtail Soup as a base...

Oh! - so indirect* social contagion can be a thing!

"A friend who lives within a mile (about 1.6 km) and who becomes happy increases the probability that a person is happy by 25% (95% confidence interval 1% to 57%)."

* i.e. friends of friends' friends.

Oof...
without breaching GDPR...
there are some proper "characters" in this town, and this is one of those rare evenings when I will retreat to the safety of one of the many pubs I frequent...

Bright orange nasturtium flowers against dark green, white-veined leaves

Bright orange nasturtium flowers against dark green, white-veined leaves

👇️ Gardening tip 👇️

Did you know, planting nasturtiums near your vegetables is a wildlife-friendly way of controlling pests, as they will attract aphids away from your crops. They can help suppress weeds by covering the soil, and even produce a better crop by attracting pollinators.

Of COURSE he's insider trading. He's a crook, he's ALWAYS been a crook, he's using the presidency to make billions.

He ran to stay out of jail, to make money and to feel powerful, because that's what a narcissist like him gets off on. It was never about helping people.

and for some reason this reminds me of having to remount a network path to a NAS, but it has been a while...

Glad I don't do IT any more...

(also some systems will change default path when using sudo su but I can't remember if MacOS terminal does)

1 day ago 0 0 1 0

hope I am not making a suggestion you are already well aware of but have you tried - when running the command from Terminal - prefixing the command with
sudo
(and a space)

or tried:
sudo su
(and return) prior?

The Aromatase deficiency more likely I guess despite also low numbers, but medicine interactions with humans are complicated, like when I had antidepressants a couple of decades ago I had paradoxical side effects.

Guess some of us are just wired differently...

This little Digitalis Virtuoso Rose has survived entirely neglected on my front step since I bought it last year and nearly killed it, and has therefore earned the right to be planted out.

Meanwhile the nearby Echium Pininana is showing signs that this year, its third year, it is going to flower.

In 1994 I had the experience of being told:
"We don't serve women in here." in a Royal British Legion in Distington, Cumbria.

I replied:
"Good job I am not a woman then!" & then got served.

Privilege, eh?...

Good job they didn't ask me to prove I was 18... 🤣

Well... I hope you don't cause him Tinnitus like I have for the second time this week but also think loud noise in the AM after a night out can be "educational" too.

Hope you both sleep well.
