I also love the two leather bucket chairs at the small table in The Colmore that is situated right at the end of the long main room as it looks back straight down through the pub for peak people watching.

There is a small shelf that wraps around a pillar in The Wellington right opposite the bar and sitting at a stool there with a pint of Oakham Citra at 11am is one of my favourite spots.

I had a second can of it last night and I think it genuinely is a decent blend of the two with characteristics of both coming through in a pretty balanced way.

A fitting game for his first game back for up at your place. Should get a good reception from both sets of supporters.

Was very tempted but given I'm easing myself back in went for a 4%er from Helmsley Brewing and bloody nice it was.

A cracker of a pub.
Wouldn't expect anything less from Thornbridge.
Cheers!
Only a quick stop straight from work myself and then I'm off to Blackheath.

Seriously, though, my dry spell from Boxing Day is over today and it's been the easiest one yet. Not sure if I will do it again next year or not, we will see.
Looking forward to a pint though now, I must say.

If anyone has access to loads of money, Johnny and I want to make a motion picture that will invoke so much working class consciousness and bring the Black Country to the world.

I can one hundred percent see her as a 20th Century chainmaker.
You've got a job as my casting director.

Beamish never went away in Cork.
The Rebel County need to get moving although I suspect it's probably been acquired by some detestable multinational now.

If Murphy's starts appearing places on the bar or in small pack I will be absolutely buying a tonne of it for nostalgia reasons alone.
The Old Man used to always have four cans of this in the fridge when I was growing up.
