Right exactly… like there’s nothing wrong with either take on their relationship but some people act like it’s UNIVERSALLY canon that Bumblebee is Optimus Prime’s little baby son and will freak out if people depict them in any other way… and it’s just really not that serious IMO

I’ve been thinking about drawing them for so long… # 1 most needlessly hated on pairing when opbee is actually fire, most people just don’t wanna believe it

Guys if you wanna understand why I fw Starbee so much despite them having very little positive canon interaction I’ve been thinking about this ALL DAY and I explained it here as best as I can… Starbee forever

So yeah obviously this is more like hypothetical stuff since they don’t have a lot of positive interactions in canon but idk they’re just like peanut butter and jelly to me… sorry for infodumping but I have starbee autism

Starscream rebels against it. And also, neither of them are always taken seriously by their respective factions, with Bumblebee it’s more of people underestimating him or seeing him as naive, whereas with Starscream it’s like he’s the laughing stock of the decepticons sometimes. (6/7)

both of them are close to their respective leaders, where obviously Bee has a good relationship with Optimus based on mutual respect and affection, Starscream basically has the opposite of that with Megatron. Both are usually not considered “leader” material, but while Bee kinda accepts that, (5/?)

appreciated. I think Starscream is probably used to being beaten and belittled by people bigger than him, and Bumblebee is the exact opposite of that. Bumblebee could not be MORE different from Megatron. AND I also think there’s some interesting parallels between them… (4/?)
