I was actually thinking about societal issues and how we demonize the symptoms but do little to address the sources. But it’s a good audio analogy too

I try to pay that forward by helping others. The other day I spent part of the afternoon walking a mix engineer through some methods of gain staging his mixes better, so the masters will come out better.
I had the good luck to land in a sweet midsized studio run by some of the best of Atlanta, with a remarkable collection of gear. I learned a lot there, grateful still.

More pro than home, also post/video houses embraced them. They had solid timecode sync capabilities.
Tascam made the more affordable DA38 to try and break Alesis’ dominance but it was too late. Also a solid machine.
