It's more efficient for planes to just inadvertently crash into schools than having to use a missile.

It might be inspired by falling asleep a few nights ago, heavily groggy from cold meds, with "Kim's Convenience" on in the background and hearing the "best by" discussion. Still pretty good!
Anyway it's probably something Astro City or something did, but still, a pretty good name I think.
I think they were also were partly funded through patronage, but from like the third son of some wealthy family. Something to give them something to do that looks good. But they're really into it sincerely.
The heroes were all normal people pretty much. No billionaires or elite scientists.
I was in the weird zone before falling asleep when your brain free associates and I had an idea for a superhero book or comic called "The Good Fight" and all the heroes had powers that were just... good. Like, fast, but *slower* than a speeding bullet. Still pretty good. Not spoof powers I mean.
I misread it as Alice Cooper and I was concerned about the ol' fella. This person, I don't know.
I remember seeing her in The Strange Love of Martha Ivers and that was an eye opener.
I've really become a fan of Stanwyck's over the last few years. When I was a kid she was just to me the old lady from "The Big Valley" reruns, which was far from being representative of how wide a range she had in her heyday.
How do you even tell them apart?
A Rubber Soul Deluxe Edition box set.
Oh no, for a second I thought you meant a story like "Who is Donna Troy?" and there were going to be even more convoluted backstory twists incoming.
Happy Superman Day!
They still come in the mixed bags at Halloween with the regular kind, and Dots and Tootsie Roll pops but this is pure and uncut.
An entire bag full of the fruit flavored Tootsie Rolls! With the owl on the bag!
I'm still sick what with the COVID and all, and going a little stir crazy, but my amazingly cool wife ordered me a *whole bag* of the fruit flavored Tootsie Rolls. I freaking love these things. I never even knew you could get them like this.
The bag wasn't decoupaged with gold leaf. Or the dasher. Very plebian.
The original overly birdlike Golden Age ones are kind of terrifying. I was rereading the early All-Star Squadron run last night and there was a call-out when Shiera got the second version.
I've been wondering, do you prefer the feathery masks, the modern armored ones, or even Carter's yellow cowl?
I think the silver age feather Katar/Shayera are tops, personally.
The Taurus Gang were underused. They could have been a recurring bunch of jobbers at least.
He's never gone anywhere he has to actually pay for things.
And Brody did sayeth unto Hendricks "What are you doing out there? These are your people - go and talk to them."
And Hendricks did reply as one forsaken "Those aren't my people. They're from all over the place."
Jimmy Olson's new Omega signal watch is gonna be awesome next to his honorary Cartier Legion Flight Ring (as Elastic Lad of course.)
I think I did get it when the Avengers went on Late Night With David Letterman at least.
Both shows were indispensable during my formative years.
Well, I goofed and never got up to date on the COVID vaccine and guess what.
(We had free vaccines at work but COVID got taken off the list right before the event thanks to certain meathead ambulance chasers in our government.)
Be safe, get updated. Don't be a dumb dumb like me.
I always forget about the old bit with showing a random audience member with a funny caption, but i started SNL with Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo. 8 year old me didn't stay up that late in 1978
I can’t believe I’m writing this, but today is one of the greatest moments in baseball history history. It’s the 19th anniversary of the Fenway Pizza Throw featuring Don Orsillo and the late Jerry Remy with a guy who wasted a piece of cheese pizza.
Not enough money to hire actual cashiers but enough to pull this crap on their own customers. Lovely.
Did anyone else much draw the parodies that started every issue of Mad? I can't picture anyone's art but his.
Happy 43rd birthday Chomp!

The fact that his children let him go on like this in public says a lot about his family dynamic.
We can also go where we want to.
The scoreboard at Truist Park declares another BRAVES WIN in neon colors for 80s night.
The family win streak at Truist Park continued with another Braves win and it's getting a little nerve wracking.
