SCORE, a collaboration of 865 researchers, is now released as three papers in Nature, six preprints, and a lot of data (cos.io/score/). SCORE examined repeatability of findings from the social-behavioral sciences and tested whether human and automated methods could predict replicability.

A not entirely serious song of praise for Witten. Witten, longing of my dreams, how rich you are in beauty. On the street, trees grow in the middle of the sidewalk. Cabbage grows on your squares. Houses alternate with the meadows. Oh, how highly you are valued. Beautiful Witten on the Ruhr! Even on Sundays and public holidays it's too nice in Witten, because you can buy a return ticket to Dortmund, Bochum and Hagen. In the evening the solid folks return, when the clock strikes twelve. Back to your peace Beautiful Witten an der Ruhr! I've never seen a station building like yours in my life, and the source of all joy is the station crossing. The gentle breath of your cast steel works wafts through nature. Your children are happy. Beautiful Witten an der Ruhr! The streets are sometimes uncomfortable. Some guys come here and wedge heir heads in at night. All evil, all bad comes to you from outside, because in you there's only the righteous. Beautiful Witten an der Ruhr! But not only the surface is your glory and your adornment, your colliery is Franziska beneath you. When the ground sinks beneath your feet the house shows the trace of the crack, then Franziska sends greetings. Beautiful Witten on the Ruhr! Should I part from you one day. How would I bear such pain? If I had to avoid your walls my heart would break. There is only one thing I would like to achieve, that when my watch runs out, my bones bleach in you. Beautiful Witten on the Ruhr!
Schönes Witten an der Ruhr/Beautiful Witten on the Ruhr.

My biggest writing advice to grad students is: don’t be a perfectionist. I hope you find an advisor who works with you on shitty first drafts. My grad advisor Judy Hall and I would send imperfect drafts back and forth til it’s as good as we can get. Writing fast is prob a big predictor of publishing

Hello! I'm looking to hire a post-doc, to start this Summer or Fall.
It'd be great if you could share this widely with people you think might be interested.

That’s exactly how I felt. The unromantic truth is, of course, that this only applies to the few projects without PhD students and postdocs, for whom short-term results are more important than ever. But still.
