The thing that's very frustrating re this. The majority of staff and journos at the national are good folk, capable of really good and quality work in a sea of despair.
This isn't journalism where you're holding a group accountable through reporting or debate. It's just taking their money.

Exceptionally poor decision re that front page ad.
I WAS COMPELLED
Labour doth protest too much about this evening's revelation of Sarwar sidling up to Offord. It's believable because they have clearly been briefing that they planned to do exactly that.
current status: weeping with laughter
It's also littered with Anas cosplaying as a dentist ignoring the fact he spent less time as a working dentist than the time he spent at university because let's be honest, being a political nepo baby was probably more lucrative.
Reading sections on the NHS and, partisan hat off/health hat on, it's woefully poor, lacking in detail, and pledging to do things that have already been done.
Not a single proposal is costed and no promise to not sell your data as cheaply as possible to AI firms thinking it will improve outcomes.
I note the Herald have amended their false and borderline defamatory article. Good.
Shameful and irresponsible reporting in the first instance which was jumped on by LBC and the Times. But they're not going to correct themselves.
Gentle suggestion, I think we can all calm down about prisons.
Hivemind. Needing a pal with a Costco membership and I'll buy you a pint. Any takers please get in touch

Half of health boards in Scotland don't have pathways. Seeing other cases of those places with pathways suspending prescriptions with no notice. Also seen cases of terminating shared care agreements with kindly worded letter and no ability to appeal.
Except this would be more accessible than the current system for folk which is currently "no".
The Glasgow/West Branch of CAMRA put this out and my heart 🥹
you know, somehow the scottish government manages to avoid doctors strikes by negotiating in good faith, even with its limited budget
has starmer tried that?
Gaelic is good. Encouraging more people to speak and support it is a fundamental duty of any Scottish government.

Because they're a troll? He was a troll when he was in the SNP. He was a troll when he was Alba. He'll continue to be a troll as long as there are journos that cover his trolling.
@vonnsand.bsky.social hello, I am a voter in Glasgow Central. would you like to explain how I should be supposed to even contemplate switching party allegiance given your history of quite fascist remarks on minority language and culture?
Regardless of your view on the bill, it's outrageous that Assisted Dying in England and Wales will fail, not because of a vote in the commons, but because it's been effectively filibustered by the Lord's.
A small, unelected group of people blocking actual democratic consensus. It needs abolished.
Full credit to Joe Fitzpatrick using his last contribution in parliament to argue for a full conversion practices ban. He's been a true ally to the communities and parliament will be poorer without his voice.
Made the mistake of reading the reform manifesto and it's objectively just bad. Not just in a policy sense but in writing. It's just chatgpt nonsense with a few policies written in about tax.
Anyway, SG already has an app which is developed in house so we don't have to privatise through the back door.
As Labour have just promised.

If your plan to reform digital accessibility in the NHS is to copy NHS England who gave £330m to Palantir of all companies for the privilege of having your data, then I don't really believe that you've got the best interests of patients at heart.
To apologise via your spokesperson is also normally that unreserved. Take accountability.

There's not a single person in Scotland who hasn't been affected by a stroke. Extremely poor behaviour.
Part of where I would like to see this advance forward is an independent review of palliative care in Scotland, even though no amount of palliative care can ease suffering or give people choice.
This isn’t the end, but it does mean another uphill road. Likely a decade before this is debated again.
In that time, the responsibility is on all of us. To shape a society and the services within it where people can live with dignity, confidence, and support at the time they need it most.
Still mentally processing last night and what it means for Scots, health and healthcare.
It still feels raw and I’m no less devastated. Watching the vote, it was hard to see anyone in that chamber who looked anything close to happy about the outcome.
Thanks and apologies, I should have included that.
On this, you'll forgive me if I have zero support for any politician that claims to be left wing going in GB News for attention.
