One major SBL highlight this year—watching @jasonstaples.bsky.social introduce @davidaburnett.bsky.social (who gave a great response to a paper) with walk up music: Never Gonna Give You Up. #SBLAAR2024 Apparently, videos don’t work on this site so I’ll just leave this photo of David’s reaction.

Friend just posted a newly published article, & on seeing title & abstract, I thought, “Whoa, this looks great! I’ve gotta read this one.”

A little later, I received email from friend, “Thanks for your help with this one!”

So my memory isn’t what it once was. I’m getting old.
