For sure, I get it. It was a bad miss. I'm all-in on the show, but I should probably be a little more wary, haha.

I've loved the adaptation so far, but leaving that bit of dialogue out was a big mistake. At least Parker owned it. Everything else has been spot on, imo, even when he's ventured away from the novella.

The Prophecy of the Yubriy Tree, first in an epic fantasy series. Really proud of it and hoping it makes the 300!

So many otherppl podcast highlights over the years, but one that always sticks out for me was the interview with Sam Tallent. Sam's skills as a comedian and a conversationalist were on full display, and Brad did a great job mining the rich intersection between comedy and literature. #otherppl1000

Thanks for the podcast, Brad. It's been a big part of my life for a long time. I'm not a big podcast guy; it's the only podcast I've ever listened to with any sort of regularity. Thanks for keeping me in touch with the writing community and providing a real service to the literary community.

It appears that I'm going to need a new fantasy cover designer for Book Two in my epic fantasy series. I'm open to suggestions/pitches if you know of a cover designer whose style is in the vein of Book One. Thanks everyone!

I sometimes feel ridiculous doing it, but I often go to considerable lengths to usher my insect friends out of the house unharmed. Or, depending on the situation, I just let them be.

So be free. Learn your craft, create your art, and put it out into the world for others to see uncontaminated by automated plagiarism, state approval, or corporate mediocrity. Only through the act of creation do we flourish, and we surrender it at our peril.

I bring this up from time to time, and it's always crickets, haha. Guess nobody's cool. My wife gets it though, and that's all that matters.

I write of doomed love. In the beginning, it is only love, and, with a hopeful heart, charts a path toward permanence. But, unbeknownst to the lovers, the heavy hammer of fate awaits, that terrible instrument of sad stories. I write epic fantasy. #iwriteepicfantasy

I write of the road and its many wonders and dangers, of the unspoiled beauty unfolding round the next bend, of the thieves lying in wait, of the million possibilities inherent to the unknowable journey. I write epic fantasy. #iwriteepicfantasy

He has bunch of short stories with endings that really pop. Dreamsongs Vol 1 is great. Like you, I didn't love Fevre Dream. Not bad, but not great.

I write of ancient trees, limbs gnarled and twisted, timeless and terrible secrets stored in their roots. I write of their godlike patience, their transcendent indifference to the human world. I write epic fantasy. #iwriteepicfantasy

I write of the full moon, soaked in starlight, beckoning witches to dance, wildlife to gambol, lovers to rendezvous, conspirators to plot. I write of the wickedness and the wonder and the hope that it inspires. I write epic fantasy and urban fantasy. #iwriteepicfantasy #iwriteurbanfantasy
