For sure, I get it. It was a bad miss. I'm all-in on the show, but I should probably be a little more wary, haha.

I've loved the adaptation so far, but leaving that bit of dialogue out was a big mistake. At least Parker owned it. Everything else has been spot on, imo, even when he's ventured away from the novella.

I sometimes feel ridiculous doing it, but I often go to considerable lengths to usher my insect friends out of the house unharmed. Or, depending on the situation, I just let them be.

So be free. Learn your craft, create your art, and put it out into the world for others to see uncontaminated by automated plagiarism, state approval, or corporate mediocrity. Only through the act of creation do we flourish, and we surrender it at our peril.
