currently obsessed with j-rock stuff. but every song i listen to leads me to the same road:

i hear a song and say "i can play that", as i grab my bass.

i then give up after i realize the bassist is basically noodling the whole fucking song.

not realizing i learn bass mostly unplugged. which leads me to dig in while playing bcus i can only hear the bass that way. but that makes me play w/ less dynamics and just pick/pluck as hard as i can.
