Yeah imo small amounts of upscaling on drawn art are fine, since it's hard to argue it wouldn't look exactly the same if the artist had a bigger canvas resolution. So long as the edges don't get too blurred and smeared, it should be fine.

normally I'd say it's good but today's DLSS5 drama proves there's such thing as AI upscaling putting in details that were never there and should not be there, so it's probably context sensitive. Taking an old character render and using the upscaler to make it more clear _should_ be okay?
