I'm somehow in a KI blindspot (grew up thinking the game looked too hard to master compared to SF, have friends that once explained input glitches they knew that continued to alienate me) so I'll have to check this soundtrack out.

Yoko Kanno appears before a cheering crowd at The Town Hall theatre in New York City.
Breaking my streak of not posting anything to say flying up to NYC for Yoko Kanno will go down as one of the best reckless decisions of my life. Bumping into @austinwalker.bsky.social at the show is just icing on the cake. Good grief, what a night. ๐
I'm in NYC for my first time just to go see the Yoko Kanno concert and I briefly thought I saw you riding around on my way in from LGA to Times Square yesterday.
Big Klimt energy here
Rest in peace, Hideki Sato.
Yeah, him and all the great work done over at 404 Media.
I just call them "Fish Buster" and all my friends usually know what I'm talking about.
During the peak of the pandemic, I used a website called Telemelt that ran lobbies with an emulator that you could pass the controller in with zero lag which ruled. Managed to get some old friends through some SNES RPGs that passed them by, swapping controllers between story beats or grinding.
I suddenly feel like playing Power Shovel on the PlayStation.
Both were incredible losses. I feel like Rei had more potential to grow and likely would have changed the definition and sound of entire genres of music.
They have a cool grocery store called Jungle Jim's.
I loved the Anodyne games, and I was thrilled when I found out the game that cracked me up in this Iron Pineapple vid was by the same team. Auto buy for me. youtu.be/kwtnfxkFzQE?...
Ayyy, happy birthday!
Ah, yep, publisher, that makes sense. Thanks!
That's been the line I've kept. Had to shrug off the new Indiana Jones and Elder Scrolls remake. Ninja Gaiden, though, I picked up Ragebound as it's by the Blasphemous devs. I don't think there's a connection to Microsoft there. Same with 4? Isn't that Platinum and Tecmo Koei?
I remember renting that one when I got my SNES because the cover perfectly encapsulated my ideal notebook scribbles of cool robots. Game sucked though, for sure.
I kind of think Animal Well is sort of high on skill and difficulty, just thinking of the bubble platforming and small shape of your character and equally small platforms to land at times.
I think it's not exactly my bag either, but there are things that have vn qualities I really like. Phoenix Wright, 13 Sentinels, 1000 X Resist come to mind, which probably mostly aligns with my taste in mysteries and scifi more than anything.
Here's one I haven't seen mentioned yet, Fantasy Life!
You can skate better than I can, lol.
Whaaaaaaa, The Fable manga rules. Gonna keep my eyes on this one.
I still got the blue controller ink on my hands from sweating into it over thousands of hours on PSO.
This whole thing is just bonkers good. Thank you for the tunes!
You could shop at five or six stores...
A sequence of posts that seem to be in conversation with one another. Ahhhhh@nerdrpg.com says "Guys I feel like I'm in a burnt out rut type situation go you have any life hacks you do when u feel like this" Immediately beneath, morrowind.txt@morrowind-txt.bsky.social, an account that posts random lines of dialog from the video game Morrowind, posts "Yell."
Slice Time.
I've seen and enjoyed a few! Some I haven't seen yet but want to.
