I was in the room for the LGBTQ-inclusive ALL ARE NEIGHBORS event with an overflowing, standing room only crowd. It was so deeply inspiring!
Ossoff: "The financial entanglement, the way UAE money, Emirati money has compromised this WH is astonishing. It may be one of the most significant scandals in US history. Who are Trump's 2 chief negotiators? Kushner & Witkoff. The people doing diplomacy are at the same time on personal business."
For those who keep count of such things. So much turnover in senior ranks would be taken in any administration as a sign of severe crisis and dysfunction.

SCOOP: Two weeks ago, the head of the CDC delayed publication of a report showing covid vaccine cut likelihood of ER visits and hospitalizations by half. Now that report is no longer allowed to be published in CDC’s flagship scientific journal. My latest. 1/2

Look sugaring is sex work. Full stop. if that’s what she wants to do, I have zero issues. But… you can’t do sex work AND be a high ranking government official.
Also sex work 101, never use the same photos on your SW profiles as your civvie profiles. Amateur hour
NEW AND WOW: Secretary of the Navy John Phelan is leaving the Trump administration “effective immediately.” Trump looking for scapegoats for losing the Iran War? Wonder if Pete Hegseth replaces him with his bigoted "Pastor"?! www.cnbc.com/2026/04/22/n...
holy shit this is a helluva ad. this is what i want to see more of from the democrats.
SCOOP: NYT publisher A.G. Sulzberger dismissed the concerns of a mother of a trans teen on an earnings call today, saying that when reading the paper one “couldn’t read any of that and think that The New York Times is anti-trans."
Um, she’s telling you differently.

Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was killed today in a targeted Israeli strike. The IDF fired live rounds and stun grenades at the Red Cross ambulances trying to reach her. She is the 4th journalist killed by Israel while in the field since 2 March.

Pentagon Erases Wounded U.S. Troops From Iran War Casualty List: “Definition of a Cover-up”
The U.S. government altered its tally of American casualties — inexplicably scrubbing 15 wounded-in-action troops from the count.

they're calling it the most predictable trump tweet
I think trans people should thrive and be happy. I don't think that's a radical concept at all. Any other position is strange and mean.
WaPo has lost all credibility
The Texas legislature rammed through a gerrymandering bill at the request of Trump.
Virginia actually voted in favor of redistricting to counterbalance what Texas and other Republican-controlled states have done.
Yet only one is considered a "power grab."
Oligarch-owned media in a nutshell.
Here’s the very simple truth. We should ban all Gerrymandering.
Until then, to unilaterally disarm is political suicide and malpractice.
Washington is pretending to look busy with phony investigations—but don't let them distract you from the cover-up.
The Epstein files remain hidden, and Pam Bondi still hasn’t appeared for questioning.
No hearings. No deposition date. No answers.
Durango, CO, prosecutors have charged an DHS agent with criminal assault and mischief for pushing a peaceful protestor to the ground and then stealing her phone. Say the prosecutors, it's an open-and-shut case and it's all on tape. www.denverpost.com/2026/04/21/b...
A DHS deputy assistant secretary for counterterrorism has been accused of picking up men on a sugar daddy website.
The number of NIH competitive awards is down 50% from 2025, and down ~70% from prior years. Even if they catch up by the end of the year, only wealthy institutions can bridge these huge funding gaps. They're killing science-and violating the constitution-by weaponizing the bureaucracy
I doubt they see it

I have been proud to work with the Southern Poverty Law Center since 2003 in their efforts to counter anti-trans narratives in academia and media. Check out their latest piece on the “ex-transgender” movement.

I'm not surprised Brianna is this miserable when she views being trans as this horrible thing filled with suffering.
Being trans has undoubtedly made my life harder but it's also been a blessing. But that's not unique to being trans. So many things in life are like that.

The WaPo editorial board when Republicans gerrymander in Texas versus when Democrats gerrymander in Virginia.
For the record: The Washington Post is run by partisan hacks who think we won't remember that they took the *exact* opposite stance when it was Republicans pushing their own gerrymandering grab in Texas last year -- *without* putting it up for a vote.
