While some of Dunwoody officials' concerns have been addressed by the new master services agreement, others will need to be addressed by changes in policies and procedures, said Ken Bernard, Dunwoody's city attorney.
Bernard said he anticipates those policies taking 30 to 60 days to complete.
Deutsch said that Flock sales team employees were using Dunwoody's system to promote their products to a potential new customer.
"Flock will no longer use Dunwoody for demonstration projects," Deutsch said.
During discussion on the contract, Dunwoody Mayor Lynn Deutsch addressed the recent information publicized by Dunwoody resident Jason Hunyar showing two Flock employees accessing gymnastics room, fitness room and pool cameras at the Marcus Jewish Community Center using Dunwoody logins.
There will be a second 30-minute public comment period at the end of the meeting.
Eight of 10 public commenters who spoke at the start of the meeting voiced strong opposition to the city's use of Flock technology.
Former Dunwoody Mayor Denny Shortal spoke in favor of the company during the public comment period.
The city council also approved a new master service agreement with the company. The document will supersede any other contracts currently in place between the city and company and is intended to address some of the concerns raised.
