How Rumble went from a family-friendly Canadian startup to a megaphone for U.S. election deniers | CBC News Started in Toronto in 2013, Rumble was once mainly known as a site where you could find wholesome pet videos. But it changed radically after investments by pro-Trump financiers.

The other social media company that stands to benefit from #Trump 2.0 is #Rumble. Howard Lutnick, Trump's pick for Commerce, helped take Rumble public in 2022. Vance's VC firm helped get that process going. And Rumble provides cloud tech for Truth Social.
