Update on the cat situation: "probably just stress", but antibiotics for the bite scabs and we're looking to re-home the stray we think is the root cause of the stress.

Poor thing has been jumping at the slightest noise lately too. Can't tell whether it's just extreme stress or if something else is going on.

Good thing I've got the vet booked tomorrow. My otherwise super docile cat (who hasn't gone outside for a few days now) went into attack mode when my ankle got too close.

Coffee is never a bad idea.
