It's been so interesting to watch this unfold. Barnes & Noble and other big book chains shut indies down in the the 1990s (and on) and then Amazon came along and ate up all the book market share. Now people tired of big corporations are creating demand for more indies

Me too! My teens-20s were peak Stephen King reading time for me. As I got older though, i definitely have had a harder time tolerating the pervasive horror in his books.

A group of wild ducks and ducklings, including Muscovy ducks and Whistling Ducks.
Also, the ducklings did eventually show up, rushing right in without worrying about getting stepped on 😆 These pictures are so grainy, my phone's camera is awful
Taking care of my sister's dog while she's in the hospital and she's the epitome of what my nephew called "doggo depression." 🥺 She looked at me with her big, sad eyes and I heard Sarah MacLachlan, she's breaking my heart 😭

There are lots of water fowl where I live & it's duckling season so I'm always on the lookout for the little fluffballs. But today I stumbled upon this group of Whistling Ducks who are definitely up to something. Love the Muscovy photobomb at the bottom of the pic too 😆😆 #BirdSky
