I have played Slay the Spire 2 ONCE and i KNOW it's now my "game I play with a couple hours" kinda vibe.

Am I good? Nah not yet.

Will I?

So!! How do you, dear reader, do this yourself?

1) know the character & how it works

2) note where & when you use things together (during play or by yourself)

3) put coworkers together if helpful, family if not

4) play test! Don't ink it yet

5) make any final changes & add room to grow

When I made Alvaro's "sheet" I fully reorganized his features & traits to match up:

Short rest features & effects (like hit dice & arcane recovery)

Skills & proficiencies w/ stat (plus advantage vs charmed condition)

Portent dice info together

Spell slots & ritual spells (0 level used)

But I still have language and tool proficiencies together

They're a "family," since I don't use them together often but I can remember where they all are!

The key is finding your balance AND your character's balance.

For Alleyn, I've moved Battlemaster Fighter maneuvers right with his attacks because they're used that way. The counter is to the side (the caltrops)

He's multiclassed into rogue, the sneak attack dice are also listed as a reminder!

So after playing for 20 years, here's what works best for me:

Organize based on COWORKERS and not FAMILY

I've heard this for organizing your house! But the same principle applies.

Put things that are used together... TOGETHER

But it's also helpful to have similar things grouped together, too

here's the theory:

The basic sheet is FINE. It prioritizes organizing based on what characters HAVE & not how it's actually USED

Which is fine! Especially if it works for you :)

But I feel ineffectual when I've missed something on my sheet that isn't organized where I anticipated it being
