Oh, and if it’s important, I started my transition on August 23 of 2023, but I didn’t announce it until May 2024 to make sure it was the right decision, to protect my day job and to give me time to tell members of my family individually first. ;)
Yeah. Last night was rough. The muscle relax they gave me for surgery made my whole body ache on top of everything. Today I’m swollen as fuck but my libs feel normal again so k have better options to sit and sleep comfortably

Well. It took about 25 hours for insurance to say that my gender affirming surgery that is specifically covered under my policy isn’t covered. Now I have to appeal to get a service I was already told by that same company is covered. Fuck insurance and this country.
I don’t know why I have become the person of choice to call when other trans folks are on the cusp of suicide but that’s 4 this year as of last night. I’m so mentally and emotionally exhausted. This year has been devastating to my community and I don’t see an end to it
