The one I ate (the biggest, most pumpkin-ey lookin’ one) was pretty mild in terms of tartness, a little floral, very juicy. All the wedges just detach in your hand once the rind is off.

Indoors mostly with a south facing glass door and a grow light pointing to the other side, fertilized every few weeks. Sometimes I’ll leave it on the balcony for a few days if it’s 50F+ and not too gross out, the pot has a bad habit of tipping over in the wind.

citrus are weirdly dramatic plants sometimes.

it’s a liiiiitle shabby looking currently, it threw a fit and dropped a lot of leaves over the past couple months, but I’m sure it’d prefer to be in Florida and not indoors for a Boston winter.

I’ve had the tree for about 4 years and this is the first time it’s made me fruit bigger than a marble (cute but inedible). These guys were probably developing and ripening for nearly a year. Maybe coulda kept them on the tree longer, but the branches started to break under all the weight.

chunky things too, gotta find something to do with them, other than eat ‘em. I’m thinking an orange cheesecake.

It can be done if you’re bold enough to mod it.

It runs off of 6 AAs that last about 2.5 hours, technically has an AC adapter plug and 2nd controller input. They’re a few hundred bucks now— it’s kinda a neat object but proportioned like a brick, about 2” thick, screen’s kinda blurry… but hey, can play your carts on the go (briefly).
