Wenn wir Chili essen, wird ein spezieller Ionenkanal in unseren Nervenzellen aktiviert. Er ist bei der Wahrnehmung von Hitze und Schmerz wichtig. Forschende nutzen diesen Kanal, um Schmerzen besser zu verstehen & neue Therapien zu entwickeln.
«Neurologie fürs Gehirn: S.O.S. Schlaganfall und Kopfweh»
Könnt ihr euch vorstellen, ganz plötzlich nicht mehr sprechen zu können? Oder unerträgliche Kopfschmerzen zu haben? Das sind 2 häufige Erkrankungen. Aber woher weiss man, was das Problem ist & wie kann man helfen?
Ausserdem organisieren wir ebenfalls Schulbesuche in Zürich von Forschenden - zwei Themen für die Altergruppe von 15 -18 sind noch frei. Jeder Schulbesuch dauert 45 Minuten inklusive Frage- und Diskussionsrunde.
