On lower league football… My wife and I go down to Walthamstow games but I’m a Woking fan by birth - luckily still a few leagues apart!
We’re trying to get a multi venue event going in the area - trying to set dates at the mo and also test the water of whether it’s something that would work here.
Would love your thoughts on it and also of course if it’s something you’d want to play at!
We’ve been doing a podcast too about the idea
Very achievable! We’d love to have a chat - we’re looking to put on a new small music festival in Walthamstow AND we’re Isthmian league fans!
Great thankyou really appreciate it - will drop you a note! We’re in London so different area but similar principle I think
Going to see a random artist you’ve never heard of every month at your local venue
A Neil Young Glastonbury shuffle is epic content to start the year

A year ago we started a podcast looking charting our efforts to start a new independent festival in a world where the UK lost over 70 festivals in 2024. It’s as tough as we knew it would be, but we are hopeful that 2025 will see us get our first event launched
Thanks for joining our journey so far!
This week we catch up with Lakefest’s Lee Martin on all the highs and lows of growing an independent festival - huge thanks to Lee for spending time with us and sharing his incredible journey

@bryansgunn.bsky.social can you do ‘a coming together’ please… mainly used in cases where the forward has been shot but the commentators are too lazy to look at the replay
This is super exciting for us to get a nomination in our first year! And we didn’t even nominate ourselves (thankyou to whoever did)!!
Please vote for us here….

We're encouraged to hear the Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy acknowledging the tremendous impact of the crisis that has been affecting music venues for several years.
We hope new Gov't measures are sufficient to support the sector and reverse years of damage.

These nonsensical Spotify Wrapped genres are making me feel nostalgic for the good old days when it was insisting Chamber Psych was everyone's favourite genre
