This is absolutely the direction of travel (pardon the pun). The amount of investment in battery tech that we have seen means this is only going to develop.

Robert Reich is a real force of nature. Writing at least two substack posts a day and keeping angry at 80. A real inspiration.
Hope you're doing ok Count A.

If ever there was more reason to love Xiao Guodong, his nickname of The Cyberman seals the deal! #snooker
A helpful move for European strategic autonomy in space:
"The French MoD has made a definitive strategic choice, formally selecting [Franco-British] Eutelsat's OneWeb constellation as the primary connectivity backbone for its armed forces until at least 2030."

If ever you see me back someone/team, back the opposition 🤣 I am a terrible tipster!
I’ve always thought that Nostalgia is one of the most intoxicating but dangerous non-narcotics. It gives
a fuzzy warm feeling, completely warps the perception of reality as it is, dulls the analytical capabilities and poisons the enjoyment of the present.
You’ve been, without doubt, the Championship team of the season. Totally deserved - especially after everything the club has been through.
Saying the quiet bit out loud…
Blessed are the cheesemakers... 😂
Next couple of Fridays. If it's any consolation it's going to be a cracker of a tournament.
My bi-annual apology to my #totp friends for the oncoming snooker.
It really is. It's why we can't have nice things.
That, of course, presupposes that there is an actual lander and not just some lovely YouTube videos showing what a lander might look like.
Frankly, anyone who actually goes to the World Cup deserves everything they get. We cannot claim we didn't know who or what we are dealing with.
⚖️ International law is more important than ever at a time when even core countries in the global system are calling it into question, the United Nations secretary general said on Friday.

Genuinely, if a relative of mine was making such a public spectacle of themselves, I'd feel compelled to intervene.
Just to add, I absolutely love my electric car. Roughly the same cost for an overnight top up as @leithmotive.bsky.social I have an 80 mile (round trip) commute every day, so shudder to think what I have saved in petrol costs. Range anxiety almost non-existent now.

That is something I hadn't thought of - but now you mention it, makes perfect sense.
I also think, fundamentally the expectations (certainly for Macca) were so insanely high that he could only ever (initially) fail to meet up to them.
It's amazing how dismissive people were at the time. I cannot imagine listening to Ram with anything other than awe and affection. An absolute masterpiece, yet it was roundly booed!
People are rubbish aren't they?
I think so.
I think Dimi would be both cunning and probably T-Rex would get all star-struck and tell its mates that it had seen a Dimetrodon. Meanwhile the Dimetrodon would attack...
I took the system going down as the Great Intelligence intervening to prevent my excitement bubbling over...
My fun fact is that the gap between the Demitradon becoming extinct and the emergence of T-Rex is the same as the gap between T-Rex becoming extinct and today (60 million years!)
And me!! (I was trying not to burst into the conversation like an excited 10 year old but I can’t help it. Forgive me).
I saw some dinosaur chat on my timeline earlier. Seeing the word “Dimetrodon” fired a primal instinct, almost a reflex, for me to tell you one of my most favourite facts about them (that I learned as a ten year old).
That I didn’t, I think, is a testament to my personal growth.
It's binding on Catholics in the sense that they should of course do the right thing as the church understands it. For someone like Hegseth, refusing to engage the tradition doesn't mean he's flouting a rule for Catholics, it means he's refusing to engage in basic ethical reflection.
Because I'm seeing some people — including a religious studies person(!) — seemingly confused about this, Just War doctrine or theory isn't a set of rules for Catholics to follow. It's a set of principles to use in determining the ethical course of action in a given situation. 1/2
Three things certain in life. Death, taxes and corruption in the Russian space industry
That sounds great - I will listen and report back 👍
