I guesstimate am about 4/5 through the game (including the Phantom Liberty stuff) and have only just discovered how cool the ‘screenshot / pic’ function is.

It’s a great game - sits in the ‘Goldilocks’ zone of ‘just right’ in terms of rules crunch - and forthcoming expansion for magic / sorcery looks/sounds promising.

Played us some #Dragonbane last night. Initiative cards were pulled. Crits were rolled from ‘rolling Dragons’, PCs struck each other as a result of ‘rolling Demons’; Treasure cards were drawn.

All that good stuff.

Whilst it’s not the central conceit - I was impressed by how the Design Mechanism’s ‘Lyonesse’ rpg went out of its way to include a ‘Vancian Meal Generator’ so that the PCs can experience the type of fare which is a notable quirky feature of Vance’s writing in that trilogy.
