Wicked poster Glinda whispering to Elphaba: "We need to confirm the rest of Biden's judges"

It’s up to us to defy gravity and fight to defend ourselves, our rights, and our planet — and that starts with a fair, impartial judiciary. 🪄 #Wicked

Maryland wind energy company gets approval for major offshore wind project The Maryland based energy company U.S. Wind has received approval for a major offshore wind project off the cost of Ocean City.

🚨 BIG NEWS: A major Maryland offshore wind project has been officially approved.

US Wind's project will include up to 114 wind turbines, generate 2 GW of offshore wind, and power 600,000+ homes.

Now, more than ever, state wins like this are absolutely essential in meeting our climate goals. 👏

Now that the election is over and I am no longer constrained by political correctness or the mainstream liberal agenda, I can finally say what I’ve been holding back for years:

Nickleback is a pretty good band.

Sentinel Opinion: School voucher system should prioritize low-income and special needs students Proposed cuts to education funding that could affect two of our most vulnerable student populations — low income and special needs — are looming at the federal and state levels.

Amen. Expanding school voucher eligibility to fund private schooling for kids from well-to-do families—even as proposed federal cuts to special education funding loom—is fiscal insanity.

I Spent Six Months Selling Solar Panels Door to Door. Here’s the Thing About Renewable Energy. Here's why renewable energy will survive under Trump.

"While Trump was elected on a 'burn it all to the ground' platform, he will not be able to undo everything we’ve gained on climate."

Whether Trump likes it or not, the clean energy revolution is here to stay. Full stop.

$4.5 billion—that's how much money outside groups spent to influence the 2024 election. I've never taken a dime of lobbyist or PAC money. I co-founded the No PAC caucus, and I'm going to keep fighting to ban all PAC and lobbyist money from Congress.

Tell your Senators: Oppose Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence Please contact Congress now!

Here we go! We finally have the Gabbard page up and running. Tell your Senators: Oppose Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence

Please send your letters below and let's make it clear that we don't want Tulsi as the next DNI. It was absurd to begin with. Like Trump's trolling us.

Make no mistake: We will fight like hell against Trump's efforts to gut the Inflation Reduction Act and environmental protections, reproductive rights, and democracy.

We WILL defeat these efforts to roll back federal progress while continuing to make progress at the state and local level.

We are the League of Conservation Voters.

For 54 years, we have built political power to protect people and the planet, including winning the largest climate investment EVER in 2022.

But we need your help to defend climate progress from the Trump administration.

This evening in Pembroke, 5 of my neighbors came together to discuss next steps after the election. We talked about getting involved in grassroots efforts, supporting orgs like the ACLU, & holding Kelley Ayotte accountable. Takeaway: people are ready to stand up, speak out, and organize. #NHPolitics

Was there today for the H.R. 9495 vote (bill that would have allowed labeling nonprofits as terrorist supporting organizations).

Voted no, of course - but I do want to report that the activism DID work and persuaded members.

I thought it’d be a lonely NO vote, which we take often. It wasn’t.

Senator Bernie Sanders tells Punchbowl that he is moving forward next week with a resolution to block billions of dollars in aid to Israel.

Starting tomorrow, AIPAC is running ads in 17 states to urging Senators to oppose the resolution.

Per Noah Hurowitz of the Intercept: H.R. 9495 has failed to pass a vote in the House.

Attempt to pass under suspension rule, so needed a 2/3 majority - 256 yes, 145 no.

Those are not good numbers.

Will post who ended up where when the roll call comes up.
