What's a beloved game that didn't clock with you?

The first that comes to mind for me is Borderlands. Maybe I just haven't given it enough time to get it's hooks.

It's been a couple years since my last yearly playthrough but it's been a stressful week so I thought I'd go back to where things just make sense. Let's fuck up some Geth then learn to emphasize with their plight!!!

Finishing Cyberpunk with th Phantom Liberty DLC is the closest I've gotten to the Mass Effect level of post-game depression.

I'd put Shawshank and Pulp as 1-2 but I still haven't seen Quiz Show so not totally qualified to judge but I really only ever hear people talk about it in the context of that year's Oscars

I wouldn't want it to be at all connected to the Affleck movie but the idea of an Arkham-style Daredevil game has kept me up nights

Mine too! So happy they were able to get it to where the hype was and then went beyond that! CDPR gets my money for ever!

Started Cyberpunk the day it was released an was underwhelmed. Tried again after Phantom Liberty and I have honestly struggled getting into any other game since finishing. CDPR really turned it around and created something special. Plus, it's not an especially difficult game so can really enjoy it!
