NASA has switched from the general mission broadcast to the descent broadcast for Artemis II:
The broadcast has been going over the details but NASA also posted the Artemis II splashdown timeline (2/2)
Artemis II has a live broadcast heading into the splashdown. The target is off the coast of San Diego landing at 8:07 PM EDT (ie. tune in around 7:30 PM EDT if you just want to watch the final descent sequence) (1/2)
The NASA #Artemis II tracking website: www.nasa.gov/missions/art...
It includes a nice moveable visualization of the Moon, the spacecraft, the Sun, and the Earth, so you can get a feel for the relative positions of them all.
Screenshot with a made in powerpoint vibe; there is a blue to orange to pink background. Two logos: small NASA at top right, larger Artemis at the mid right. The following text is displayed on the left as a list without bullet points: Key lunar flyby times, milestones All times eastern, subject to change based on real-time operations 1:56 p.m. Crew passes distance from Earth record set by Apollo 13 in 1970 2:45 p.m. Lunar flyby begins 7:02 p.m. Orion closest approach to the Moon (4,070 miles) 7:07 p.m. Orion reaches maximum distance from Earth (252,760 miles) 8:35 p.m. Orion enters solar eclipse
ICYMI - screenshot of all the upcoming milestones which was just shown on the broadcast

the thing about "i'll just pirate it" for this HP show is that it is *ruined* i literally cannot enjoy it, she has put her disgusting transphobic veneer over all of it and so it literally cannot be enjoyed, even if I wanted to try (I don't) I would see her smarmy cigar smoking face in my mind's eye
8. I know. There's a lot to keep track of right now with so much going on in the world.
So if you’re an eligible voter who can use a guide to help you register, I’ll keep it simple:
Start by going to npr.org/vote.
And then the dawning horror of a coed middle school group grappling with periods. My mom was apparently the only one who sent me with a kit to deal with it (2/2)
At sleepaway camp, I had to explain to a boy how to get blood out of his jeans after he scrapped his knee & was freaking out about the stain. I'll never forget one of the other girls being like "why do you know this?" & I responded with "why don't you?" (1/2)

“When Liu, 20, decided to return to skating, she did so with conditions. She’d wear what she wants. Dance to the music she wants. Eat what she wants. Take breaks when she wants…. [Skating] would be the vehicle through which she displayed the real Alysa.”

Is Fate of the Old Republic legends or canon? It doesn't matter: either way, it's something new, and that's as invigorating as the news of a spiritual successor to KOTOR even existing in the first place.

Thanks! As a total novice, I didn't realize I had purchased thread for a machine & wondered if that's why it was such a pain to use by hand
Do you have any recommendations for metallic embroidery thread? I used 2 metallic machine threads for a project & while I made it work, I wish I had paid more attention when ordering it!
