Still on a bit of a Metroidvania kick so started Ender Lillies.
It's interesting that I've tried to get into this game multiple times but this time around it REALLY clicked.
Great game so far. Really feels like it took what Aria of Sorrow did with it's Soul system and goes way further with it

Just finished The Last Faith.
Yeap that is a 2D Metroidvania that fucking reveres Bloodborne to the point of essentially being a 2D version of it.
Lovely time and an immaculate look and art direction.
Kinda wish it did more than just be "2D Bloodborne" but that alone makes it a great experience

There is such a excellent flow and clearness with it's characters that it had me more invested with each page.

To sum up my thoughts on the Mario Galaxy Movie:

I like it!

All the criticisms against it are extremely valid but it was clear there was so much love and attention put into the art direction and animation.

The writing...did I mention it looked pretty!

I love seeing people being like "No I won't like Ingrid!!!" even after Alex's whole...thing.

Actually gonna jump back into SF6 soon so this should be interesting

"It's not been fun reading" seems to be a consistent mood for the mainline series from what I see.
That recent space storyline seems interesting but also messy and an odd choice for the core series

Like outside of being in a relationship with MJ...what has he actually done that's garnered the amount of hate

Hell it's even more indictive when you look at the incredible efforts made with the unoffical PC Ports.

It's really is a matter of accessibility and needing a change of mindset.

(Definitely recommend people look into those ports if you have the OoT itch. They are incredible)

I feel so bad about Tekken 8.
It's one of those games where I remember being so hyped and exciting at the start. I never got to it but there was always this thought of "Oh I NEED to get to this at some point"
Given the constant news around it, there's this sense of "Oh I really missed the chance"

There's something just...disturbingly cathartic about this dark scene.
Being trapped with someone pleading and begging for you to help them understand something over and over again, putting all onus on you... you give into your intrusive thoughts and try to slit your throat
