@waporwave.bsky.social and @sirmilkman.bsky.social, the creators of Mini GUNN, are releasing an awesome-looking new pack of stages and an asset modding tool on April 10th!
These stages look so good—are they really unofficial??!? 🤯
what are those biscuits
I was lucky enough to playtest this game and it is absolutely lovely
I made Moss Moss, a #pico8 game about mossing the world and finding secrets. Hope you enjoy ♥

oh, my slopes? yeah they're pretty precise
A decent feature of my work in GBstudio magazine
It's been a while since I talked in-depth about the thing I've spent 20 years of my life doing professionally; namely pixelart .
I wonder if there are any gamedev outlets that would have me
@checkpointau.bsky.social ? @rockpapershotgun.bsky.social ?
yay <3 ill probably mess around with it more at some point, I just got burnt out from doing too many hardware projects at once
Oh I want to add, it doesn't have to be paper. Obviously that has issues. A previous test I used a flat ceramic and the results were better because of the flat and sturdiness, but that does make holes and double sided way harder. A good plate is whats holding back this method I think.
this is so awesome castpixel!!! my gf sent this to me, because ive also innovated on no chemicals home pcb fab, and I think my method is also completely novel? Basically using a vinyl cutter-plotter to take a Kicad design and trace it onto a plate that has been pressed with copper tape ( thread )
I printed it and stuck self-adhesive copper tape to it. There's copper tape with conductive adhesive so you can add multiple overlapping pieces and it counts as one conductive surface. Then I used the second part of the mold to shape the copper, so that it sticks inside the recessed traces. Then I used sandpaper to file away at the raised ridges. The copper traces are now electrically independent of each other. Done! But if I want, I can remove the extra copper tape.
The companion mold at the bottom. This second 3D-printed part pushes the copper tape down into the recessed trace channels so it conforms to the shape. The two parts sandwich together with alignment spikes to keep everything registered.

Adobe Illustrator on top (you can use any free tool that makes SVG vector files. I just own an old illustrator version. Bottom: the PCB Forge tool I made
I made a tool that turns PCB designs into 3D-printable molds. you sandwich copper tape between the parts, sand the ridges, and you have a real working PCB. no etching, no chemicals. I am losing my mind

The process sounds a bit silly but the results are pretty amazing imo!! Itd be so cool if some more people experimented with it. Maybe more modern machines, and a new plate material. IDK it feels promising to me. (btw ive always loved your artwork, and the process you came up with is really cool!!!)
Being cardstock made it floppy but if more effort was put into finding a good material, something sturdy but could be cut with a knife, I really think this method could be pretty cool. Pros, double sided, cheap machine, minutes long fab time! Id really love to know what you think.
I got a used cheap silhouette cameo, old model. The "thinner plate" is... paper materials lol. But look at that trace width!!! Only the hair width didnt connect. Its magic what this copper tape pressed well on a flat surface can do.
Based on fab.cba.mit.edu/content/archive/processes/PCB/vinylcut.html but instead of transferring a thicker tape, just cut the design directly onto a thinner plate. This also allowed it to cut through-holes, and with copper on the other side, its one of the rarer actual double sided homefab pcbs!

here's the raw export from #picoCAD2
ana? i love ana but.......... LISE?????!!!!!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh my god this is so inspiring!!! i still wanna make a game with a yoyo slinger
Been a while since I did a General MIDI transcription, but just finished one using an experimental tracker/DAW-ish thing I've been working on! (more on that in the future)

what is this awesome song....
blug and glug stand still, both looking up at a fried egg.. that's flipped up onto the ceiling!.. blug looks nervous, as if their attempt at looking cool while flipping an egg failed terribly, while glug is just wondering, how is it staying up there perfectly. both are thinking "Ok. Egg on ceiling" as the egg. is on the ceiling
