genuinely love the tiny item pool in Champions M-A. love that "specific moves get a tiny damage bump" is viable. go, my typhlosion with charcoal. we're using the same strats we used on the gameboy

"What if *I* talked at the internet" comes for us all, eventually
This is why Tomodachi Life eludes me I think
I have learned from ffxiv and pokemon that I absolutely love to play dolls and bash them together but it is absolutely critical that there be some "proper" game for me to play with them first. Give me raids or competitions to put my guy in and I will think about their favorite snacks but no sooner.

Results from the Warm-Up Challenge! My goal was top 10k or 1600 points but I can't be mad about getting close. First time doing an online challenge and I got top 2%.
Raichu and Politoed were the MVPs. Fastest fake-out won a lot of turn 1s and I got out of a lot of bad end-games with perish song.
I've been enjoying Raichu as a rain team fake-out user instead of Incin or Sneasler in Champions so far. Negating Archaludon and one-shotting Pelliper in the mirror is nice, and nuzzle goes hard for speed control
Ultimately I do think making it more approachable is the better outcome
That list is pretty exhaustive. Everything is always max except Attack is minimum if you don't need it. Speed is the only IV I miss, because on top doing 0 for trick room you could also do stuff where you'd tune your speed to get information or make certain matchups play out in an unexpected order.

I have also been fiddling with a Mega Golurk trick room team but my brain is struggling with that one
Wolverine looking at a picture frame meme. Pokemon TCG art of Lurantis is in the frame.
been having a lot of fun with Champions playing a rain team built around trying to figure out how to make Mega Dragonite work
however I already miss my hard trick room team. lurantis in champions when
first night of Champions review: good
but: where is mawile. I wanted a mega mawile trick room team where is it. you let kangaskhan in this is bullshit
Bag of "Cosmic Gummy Rings", showing little licorice-looking ring gummies covered in little candy dots. The packaging shows an astronaut holding a cosmic gummy ring with a bite taken out of it, despite the astronaut's helmet being on because they're mid-space walk
the ones I got were QuickTrip branded but I think they're the same thing
basically a lifesaver covered in nerds. pleasant sweet/sour balance that leans sweet. honestly like these a bit more than nerds clusters, pleasantly surprised when the QT branding had my expectations as low as possible
watching like every early look video on Pokemon Champions even though they're basically all the same info
two weeks is so far awaaaay
i love you steam sale derg
Nice! branded Gummy Peach Peelable Candy product image. It promises "100% satisfaction guaranteed" which is frankly audacious
outer texture I'd describe as "mochi-like" if it were good, inner texture kinda like a melted gummy bear. the "peel" gimmick is deeply unpleasant and just lets you have to two mediocre textures on their own. nicest thing I can say about it is I guess it is peach flavored
Cool project I wanted to share - they're hoping to start a kickstarter next week to help with the initial order cost (100 units)
It's a digital compass (sits in the middle of the table) that can aid with scoring and tracking riichi/honba.
Please give it a look. :)

classic sonic fanart of the roster of sonic characters in sonic racing: crossworlds. everyone is either using their existing classic sonic era designs or fan made ones, everyone is organised by their introduction year, and has text explaining who they are. It's Eggman, Sonic, Vector, Tails, Super Sonic, Metal Sonic, Amy Rose, Knuckles, Espio, Charmy, Big, Shadow, Rouge, Cream, Cheese, Omega, an Egg Pawn, Blaze, Silver, Jet, Wave, Storm, Sonic the Werehog, Orbot, Cubot, Zavok, Zazz, Tangle, Whisper and her wisps, King Dodon Pa, Jewel, Sage in her Dark and Light designs, Tails Nine, Rusty Rose, and Knuckles the Dread

in light of today's "The Big Game", it is my pleasure to report that avgn's football rant is highly compatible with laura palmer's theme
things I would tell to my younger self:
your parents are lying. it never gets easier to wait for a toy to arrive in the mail. something not arriving on the first day of a month-long estimation window will be exactly as devastating for the length of your life. brace yourself
Bonus Panel!
not that I'm not still cheeks at them but getting a physical handbrake has made rally sims feel less torturous. nicer than trying to find a face button while the wheel spins at the sort of speeds and angles at which I desire handbrake access
A screenshot of the "car garage" from the PS1 version of Need For Speed: High Stakes. It shows a red Pontiac Firebird T/A in the vehicle select. It has stripes and a spoiler and pop-up headlights and a six-year old would find it super cool.
this extremely crunchy ps1 model of a firebird imprinted on me and is the only reason I now think pontiacs are cool
been playing Need For Speed: High Stakes a bit. as a kid it was the only racing game I had that wasn't a kart game, and I remember it being insanely hard and never getting even close to winning a single event in it.
I think I was just dumb and didn't know to slow down for turns, this shit's easy
