I speak to a lot of people about JK Rowling - many once close friends with her. I was once friends with her. And they all say she is now very changed.

To pretend she is not radicalised, to give succour to her views on trans people, is an astonishing thing for Kezia, as Chair of Stonewall, to do.

I’ve been working on a new chainmaille weave I’ve not tried before (dragonscale), as well some small 4in1 box chain sections in pride flag colours to make into keyrings

Likely because they realise you can’t change things overnight and the country is about to grind to a halt.

Progress isn’t instant.

I loath James Dyson with passion, but my DC40 vacuum has been stepped down and repaired by me multiple times because it’s so well designed to be taken apart repaired *by unskilled people armed with a screwdriver*. Can’t talk for the newer stuff, but the old vacuums are top tier for repairability

Writing for PinkNews, Wes Streeting, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, says he hears the concerns of LGBTQ+ people, and wants to reassure trans youngsters that they have not been forgotten.
If you are a young person questioning your gender, or a parent watching your child struggle with who they are, this moment of reassessing how NHS gender services are accessed and deployed may feel frightening.
You might be worried about what comes next. You might feel uncertain, unheard, or invisible in a debate that too often talks about you, rather than to you.

The horrid horrid PinkNews, after going reporter-free, publishes Wes Streeting’s opinion, which denies the existence of trans kids in the first line.

A week or so ago I asked what the point of following Pink News on here was. Nobody had an answer.

Today, I'm asking again...

I will NOT be able to stop playing when it comes to iOS. Genuinely need a function that locks you out for X number of hours to help folks like me with addictive tendencies! Linked to the App Store account so you can’t just uninstall and reinstall!

I can get you a DRM free version of RC Bray’s version though if you’d like it

I’m still livid that the incredible RC Bray (very experienced and respected narrator and voice actor) had to their narration of the book erased from the internet by the publisher when the film came out so they could rerelease it with Wil Wheaton reading it because celebrity > skilled reader

Have you read the book?
I ADORE the book (particularly the audio book narrated by RC Bray) but the film took many liberties with some key plot points.

It still angers me that eyes and teeth are seen as costs that we either pay for or just Y’know, not see or be able to eat properly.

I need every single male artist that follows me to read this. It's not very long. You need to bear witness to this shit. You have to see it with your own eyes because you never will in your everyday life.

I'm serious, read it all please

I say continue the tradition of the internet/software development where it’s entirely reliant on a couple of outdated janky hacks maintained by a single person

Would a zigbee reed switch/home assistant with automations improve on this, or is the set up reliant on the cat flaps own electronics to function?

(For the record I am all for janky bodged wiring and hot glue…)

And of the current options in the political landscape, who wound you suggest is a better choice?

The whole thing needs burning down and rebuilding

Trip to the garden centre with H. We went to my favourite one with the cats. Was not disappointed. The grey fluffy one came and sat on my lap for a while demanding head strokes
