Chip Taylor performing at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass
We were all saddened to hear that Chip Taylor had passed away. Perhaps best known as the songwriter of the Troggs’ 1966 anthem “Wild Thing,” Chip played Hardly Strictly in 2005 and 2006 with longtime collaborator Carrie Rodriguez.

This week marks another huge loss to our community with the passing of the great blues legend John Hammond. Although he only graced Hardly Strictly once, on the Rooster Stage in 2016, he will be greatly missed. Condolences to his loving wife Marla.

On Sunday, we lost soul legend Don Bryant, pictured here performing on the Banjo stage with the Bo-Keys in 2017. If you were lucky enough to catch their set, you witnessed a classic return to old school R&B. Rest in peace Don.
