A diagram of a car engine, showing a graph of horsepower and engine speed. Figures missing from the graph include: (a) force of impact; (b) intensity of scream; (c) number of shards into which the windshield shattered; and (d) the unbearable weight of Matt’s grief.

They coexist along side actual locomotives, but some classes were entirely replaced with ARWs
*1899 sorry
In mine they first appeared in
1889
My train people world is extremely vast and in depth! And I also find your lore for her pretty good. The train people in my universe have a “species name”, they are called ARWs
Which stands for Autonomous Rail Workers
(Pt.3) She continued working until late 1986, where was retired for a second time but she would be purchased by a museum and would be restored internally and externally to working order, in her time at the museum, she asked for a tail, which the museum would agree to giving her her tail
(Pt.2) Where she would be repainted and refurbished for work on the SP&S. She worked for the SP&S until her retirement in 1967 where she would be sat on a storage track awaiting to be scrapped, but in 1975 she was purchased by a shortline where she would continue work for another few years
lol, but that is part of it
Built in 1948 she was initially ordered by the Union Pacific to work on their line. A year later in 1949 the SP&S ordered two ALco FA-2s, a male model and a female model respectively, 870 (originally numbered 1616) would be sold to the SP&S in 1955
Do I give her a tail?
Cuz I have managed to make up a “relatively” brief history for her and I have an idea for how she got her tail
