Shame that didn’t end in a goal. Phew
It may be because it’s 12:30 am but I simply cannot process that NSC just beat América in the Azteca. Just wow.
First MLS club to ever do it! Massive NSC!
History. VAMOSSSS NASHVILLE
FT! Nashville SC are into the Concacaf Champions Cup semifinals! The first-ever MLS team to win a match at the Azteca!
And made two other great plays — the hand to the ball that came off the cross bar and perfectly timing his run to the top of the box on a Charlotte break

This data point needs to be front of mind for every city planner, engineer, and CM
For every vocal opponent of bike lanes, there is a strong supporter. The other half of Nashvillians are conditional supporters that will buy-in when we demonstrate all the great benefits of bike lanes
Four people died over Easter weekend on our roads, all under 31 years old. Two more people were killed crossing Lafayette, after someone was seriously injured a week prior. Pedestrian fatalities are up significantly year-to-date. We need more resources and urgency for Vision Zero, not less
The person who wrote the vandy press release does not know how to read polls.
A supermajoritarian 72% of respondents want more bike lanes
Thank you. I hadn’t found the full poll and assumed this question was either leading or incorrect framing
It’s a good question. All I know is the away goals rule is intended to incentivize away teams to play attacking football. Without it, for example, Nashville would probably go into Mexico City next round with a very defensive mindset and same for their opponent in Nashville
This cup is two games each round until a one-off final. Nashville advanced on an away goals tiebreaker rule that used to be common worldwide but has stuck around in our corner of the globe. We take those
Couldn’t do it on a rainy night in Nashville. Couldn’t do it on a rainy night at home 😂
I do not jinx, but I do believe in them boys in gold. VAMOS
VAMOSSSSSS NASHVILLE
I just know USMNT won’t have the same luck as the hockey and baseball teams bc ofc they won’t
Unbelievable. Thought they called him on a check swing which would’ve been equally egregious but c’mon…
Today’s sidewalk and bike lane blockages (also reported to Hub):
- Metro water truck blocking sidewalk and bike lane next to three open parking spaces
- Truck and not pictured trailer fully blocking multi-use path outside Federales restaurant. No room for a wheelchair or bicycle to safely pass
"I don't know if I am supposed to say this, but that was for the guys to break their fast."
Brian Schwake confirmed in the mixed zone that he went down to allow his teammates to break fast.

Using Belmont Blvd as the “war on cars” example is… a choice
I’ve walked, biked, and driven there and enjoy all 3. But before the bulb outs, my fiancé got t-boned there because the sight lines were terrible
Always yes
The sponsor keeps saying this won’t ban e-bikes but it WILL allow cities or TDOT to restrict e-bikes on any street they decide it’s necessary. Meanwhile, a separate bill passed that stripped local authority to restrict delivery robots on bike lanes + sidewalks
More rights for robots than e-bikers
If you or anybody you know are worried about gas prices going up, now is as good a time as any to become @walkbikenashville.bsky.social member. Ride the bus all year -$ 50. 1/2 price bcycle . Dedicated support network to annoy council for more bike lanes. www.walkbikenashville.org/membership
Hey @kyledeanreinford.bsky.social, never hit send on this. Is this sidewalk still closed? I see there's no active permit: experience.arcgis.com/experience/5...
Glad to hear that! Put a good amount of thought into it
Casually poking around the 2023 WBN candidate survey?
