today i was mildly struggling to move something heavy and 2 strong men were standing there and they just started helping me and walked away immediately after

and there are always so many birds to learn about. i saw a cooper’s hawk a couple weeks ago and it really put a pep in my step

i see a ton of crows and geese everyday but there are also so many kinds of songbirds that we don’t notice and it’s just so awesome. there are like a million kinds of finches that i have no idea how to differentiate but it’s so exciting to hear them nonetheless

i took a birding class last year which frankly did not teach me that much about identifying birds BUT it did teach me to open your eyes and ears and to notice the incredible diversity of birds around us, even if you live in an area that is fairly human-centric

god i love birds so much

i don’t have either in my life but i don’t get how an air fryer is better than a toaster oven

i loooooove kronos quartet, their recording of steve reich’s different trains is probably some of my most listened to music. but they have a huge back catalog i have never gotten around to so thank u for the link!!
