I highly recommend Kenislovas. He’s Lithuanian and takes apart beaver dams with hand tools which are blocking farmers drainage canals. It’s very relaxing with the sounds of water with some excitement when the dam collapses.

Played a game of commander last night against a guy who was 17. Same age as our last financial crisis. Somebody at the table asked what their first set was. Being roughly the same age as you, I said Revised and immediately turned to dust …

The next three weeks are going to be brutal at work. Have to try to upgrade k8s on as many nodes as I can before we freeze deployments for the rest of the year.

I’ll finish what I don’t get to in January only to turn around and start the upgrade cycle again immediately.

I assume you beat the "base" game and then put it down before getting to Act 3? Because the level of nonsense goes even higher in Act 3.

Bilewater is absolute pain. If you find yourself there, turn around or find the bell beast asap. It’s an act 3 zone and the level of bullshit is off the top of the chart

In some zones, just trying to get to a single bench requires an absurd amount of work. Mount Fay is literally Path of Pain from HK and is completely required to complete to get a required item.

The lack of benches, requiring a frustrating amount of re-do is driving me mad. I don’t know if you’ve tried Bilewater yet but the map is huge and there’s a grand total of 2 benches. All I’m doing is running back for my cocoon and arriving with 1-2 masks for a gauntlet.

Then I got to Mt. Fay. Good fucking god I'm about to snap my controller in half.

The Cogwork Dancer fight is absolutely incredible. It's so so fun. It's guarded by that double boss-trash so it's insanely easy to show up with only 2 masks of health.

The art is what makes SS imo. It's absolutely incredible. The details on the backgrounds and mobs and bosses is *chef's kiss*

Trash mobs dealing 2 masks of damage is infuriating.

Putting 2 boss-level trash mobs on the route to an actual boss is horseshit.

Having a 10-round gauntlet ending with a double "giant mob" was keyboard-throwing. (At least the run back was trivial for that one)
