Adjustments to her appearance over the years resulted in a very orange girlie. Pairing her with blue has become the go-to move. Lore-wise she has a strong fire-affinity which required focused practice of ice magicks to keep her safe.

Oh my god you get me!!! This is exactly how I used to break up school essays. Each instruction got its own bullet point, then short answer, then long. I would delete the actual bullet symbols and turn it in like that! How did I not think to apply this to creative writing omg. Thank you SO MUCH.

she expresses gratitude by making a piece of jewelry for someone. for people she’s closer to she will go through the effort of finding a gem that makes her think of them.

Ameliance, for instance, was given a white-gold necklace with three inset peridots that Khona spent days mining for.

initially just a gazebo behind her house in the shroud. she can’t do any sort of woodwork without the wood attacking her so she’d need help.

but then her neighbors’ kids get all excited about it and she can’t say no when they ask her to, essentially, build a whole ass park in her backyard.

of course Emet Selch would teach her to surpass her limits in the same way Hecate once had

Khona is aloft in the air against the night sky, her arms outstretched as if she's about to channel aether. With fire aether swirling and coalescing around her form she embraces the power within her rather than shy from it.

“Workers Rites”

Khona requires your stealth expertise to spread a message to laborers.

/ Every other season Khona helps organize a meeting for the laborers of Ul’dahn merchants to gather in secret and compare notes. Their planned manipulation leads to collective improvement in treatment and pay.

“stressed, depressed, ready to DPS”

Khona and Emet are fighting from the start of moving day. Khona is happy to do all the physical work but Emet thinks that’s a waste of energy when he could just *snap* everything into place. Emet sits lazily on the couch waiting for Khona to relent, which she finally does a little after lunch.

Montage starts out with the movie’s main group of characters all training. After 7/8 shots of training the others start tiring out. One by one each group member drops like flies, getting slower and slower before finally just sitting out. Except Khona. She’s still going strong when the montage ends

Outside of WoL fame, as a kid she had been asked to endorse merchants’ products. Her hobby was sussing out shitty treatment of workers and putting the merchant on blast, so other merchants began to seek out her endorsement. She always said no (except for her Pa, of course)

If a kid is being stupid and won’t respond to words she would use force. Hardly any, mind you, but it would still get the point across bc it’s a child. If a parent is nearby she will consult them first.

But Red Girl? Calyx? Those little shits are done for.

It gave her a real glimpse into the mind of those who know her only as the Warrior of Light. They often praise her but they could say something entirely different about her in private. So for someone to describe her as such, especially in comparison to a malicious actor, it really warmed her heart

She is a master artisan. An expert goldsmith who effortlessly picked up blacksmithing, cooking, and alchemy. But she cannot touch a length of wood without it launching splinters at her. She is supernaturally awful at carpentry. Thankfully she has a friend she can call when woodworking is threatened.

This is a set plot point in Khona’s canon post-6.0. That recovery period is defined by the overwhelming emotions she experiences as a result of having pushed everything down for the “sake of the star.” Hades speaking bluntly of the “horrific” things she feels so awful about helps her work through it

Khona’s recovery post-6.0 finally allowed her to digest all she’d gone through since before arriving on the First. Including all that *Emet Selch* had gone through. The unfathomable weight of it all crushed her. How could she want for that which destroys so much of oneself?
