Like, I don’t and can’t ship anyone here for example. I just observe the character dynamics like a marites. I watch as they go through procedures and I imagine myself being part of their team and wondering if I’d even measure up (again, I’m not an ED doctor).
I’m watching a show about my *job*.
I hear the Pitt has a large fandom and can get real scary about the characters.
Meanwhile I watch The Pitt, because as a doctor, I feel seen (tho I don’t work in the ED), and am fascinated by the accuracy and commentary.
It almost feels shallow to reduce the show to being about “blorbos”.
