started playing xenoblade 2 again to feel something. art is a mirror which we are all free to view in whichever way we want as infinite facets of the human experience. i'm however still baffled by any one of these infinite facets that like pyra without feeling at least a little gross about it

though i respected its chores-based gameplay as a story device i really dreaded playing this game before i started for that reason. to my surprise it actually did improve the experience. video games are cool like that.

haven't posted in a while. i beat kh 358/2 days. this makes me more qualified than most to say that i love roxas

some critics will say that the writing in unbeatable is "corny" or "reminds them of life is strange" but any lesbian will tell you that seeing a prompt for pumpernickel and immediately having a character say "pumpered nickel" is the realest shit in the world.

i think if you are in this game's target audience it can and will consume you whole. if you are not, it is still a damn good video game. paint with dirt, punch cops, and never ever kill yourself

i don't even like xenoblade. but if i did, i'd really be hoping for a performance and resolution patch for the series on switch 2. i'd probably want to drop everything to replay all three numbered games. thankfully i'm free and am not waiting in agony for any sort of update whatsoever

i beat galaxy 2 100% for the first time yesterday. i grew up watching videos of every green star and grandmaster galaxy though, so it doesn't feel like a new experience at all, funnily enough.

i feel like it's rare for me to play a game and go "yeah, that's exactly how good as i remember it being"
