Yes but Android Security Updates are provided to ODM ASAP but their source embargoed for... 3 months I believe. You either use stock or GOS (since GOS has an ODM partner). LOS & friends, AFAIK, have security updates only 3 months after GOS. Do check. PS: some AOSP ROMs lie on patch level, so check!
