Went to a House of All gig yesterday which is made up mainly of ex members of The Fall.
I bumped into these two in the pub before hand, the bass player on my left has always been a real hero of mine and appears on a lot of the tracks I have shared.

Mark E Smith of the band wrote the play. It was performed in 1986.
The band also performed in a ballet with Michael Clark which I went to see at Saddlers Wells.

See them this Sunday I should say.
Steve Hanley is my real hero, bass player in The Fall from 1979 (just after this album) until 1998.
Love his sound.
He is in the band with brother Paul, Simon Wolstencroft and original band member Martin Bramah plus very early member Karl Burns.

The album is Live at the Witch trials but it is a track from the album too. The into bit that leads into Futures and Pasts so I get away with it being a song :)
Very excited to see a band containing two of the members of The Fall that played on this 1979 LP plus three others, heroes of mine :)

I was very pleased to come face to face with a hidden piece of London history.
The base of one of the arches of the Roman Basilica. Tucked away in the basement of an establishment at Leadenhall Market. Not open to the public but I persuaded them to let me have a look :)
