Such a beautiful story 😢❤️

It’s crazy. I always thought it would be harder to get away with such lies in a world where we all carry video cameras at all times, but actually it doesn’t matter. They just keep telling the same lies and people believe them 😔

Beautiful. I had a beloved cat called Dolly, named after the Queen herself. She was small, sassy and full of heart 💓

I can’t do it personally, but it’s kind of a holiday tradition in the UK!

She has quite an avant garde approach to meter and rhyme, perhaps we just aren’t cultured enough to appreciate it?

I’m from the UK. I used to visit the US fairly regularly and I have family there. I said a while back I have no desire to visit while Trump is in, and this only confirms that was the right decision. I have spoken to quite a few people who have said the same. I wonder if it is affecting tourism?

My mental health has been on the floor lately but this boy has been helping by forcing me out of bed each morning to silence his hungry wails. Yesterday he even treated me to a live mouse racing around the living room 😂 thankfully saved and removed. Saves me bed rotting I guess.

I work in Stirchley and live nearby, this man and his crew threatened my friend, they are only out to intimidate. There are plenty of areas in South Birmingham that have no flags but they choose to go yet again to Stirchley because they know many people there object to it. Vile thugs.

Yes, think we used it once the whole time I was there!

“awful people don’t deserve to be killed, but they don’t deserve to be praised, either” is apparently a thought too complex for the pundit mind

One time I paid for a can of coke and FIVE came out! I was a teenager on holiday in the US and that remains one of my best memories of it (even though we did lots of other cool stuff that my parents probably spent a fortune on 😂)

Thank you. I am angry with the Labour govt for various things, so it’s good to be reminded that it’s not all bad. I don’t feel they are doing a v good job of communicating this really. I voted for them but spend most of my time lately wondering why!

I used to have one of these and I loved it!

To make it fair it should be based on household income surely? My in laws will get it despite living in a very valuable large 4 bed house and living v comfortably, but my dad won’t as he is a widower with good pension but fewer assets than in laws (he doesn’t need it either btw, but seems unfair).

From Dean’s Mother Goose Book of Rhymes, illustrated by Janet Grahame Johnstone and Ann Grahame Johnstone. This book was published in 1977 but it was a compilation of several volumes from throughout the 70s.

So true. I grew up in Aberystwyth where the university is the main employer and is currently struggling financially- my dad still works there. The students also power the local economy- the town would be a ghost town without the university.

I have an excellent book called Dictators’ Houses. Looks like they are going to have to bring out an updated version pretty soon.

Tax these oversized cars to oblivion. They are dangerous, and unnecessary for 99% of people who drive them.
