I start with finding ways to encourage quieter players (ask them for ideas their ideas and encourage their actions). Often that is enough for Loud Player to get the hint. If not, I'll start with politely pointing out the issue, then get blunter as my patience with LP's bs wears thin

In the kids club I help run, they really wanted to meet a dragon, but the last chance to do it was a situation like this. Big dragon, little room. So we turned it tragic: young dragon kept as a guard animal, got trapped as it grew too large for the door. They used a portal to free him 💜
