Alright, so yesterday's proportion testing was put to more use, as I tried it out once again, full front this time. Added some effects like a lil glow that I did not use before, but I kinda like it as it's something new to try out! Slowly getting somewhere!

Okay! This took a bit longer due to lack of time and actually wanting to improve! While again, nothing groundbreaking, I've learned a bit of better way of blending colors, and I think the lineart now is less stiff with the mix of thicker and thinner lines!
