Always good when things I printed off as a booklet from DTRPG half a decade ago suddenly become useful again. Thanks past DM Andrew.

Hell yes! I don't think anyone's posted images from the interior of the deep cut backgrounds booklet yet...

Goblin Mail A third party zine for Troika!

@evlynmoreau.bsky.social has a new Kickstarter up:

www.kickstarter.com/projects/aba...

Anything with Evlyn's art is worth a back, regardless---but I love the idea of a cosmic mail service run by gobbos and their shenanigans.

Dragonmeet RPG con is in less than a month, who is going? I am running new Troika module Whalgravaak's Warehouse in the AM slot, then skulking at Melsonia's booth, then probably an off-the-books (and possibly beery) game of Vaults of Vaarn in the evening (get in touch if interested in the latter).

I still get surprised when I see that OSE cover in the wild

Fair enough, I checked out of Brewdog's beers years ago but schedule permitting I'll try to be there. Is Gamma World 1e old-schoolish enough to run or would something UK centric be preferable?

It's a total placeholder but would anybody be interested in a day of OSR Gaming next Summer. Brewdog Chancery Lane London. Games that are loosely Old School -ish. Fighting Fantasy, Dragon Warriors, plus mebbe some of the more recent vintage stuff. Names in mind..

Yes. How come Brewdog as a venue?

An amorphous mutant frog man, a vampiric mind-control squirrel, a sentient electric tomato plant and a purestrain human attempt to oust a psionic head-on-legs from the solar power plant that keeps their village forcefield active, but accidentally blow it up in a fight with some gas bladder spike-men

The British Library exhibition on Fantasy rapidly goes from pretty good (Richard Dadd, Bernard Sleigh's map of fairyland, Andrew Lang) to feeling like it was curated by someone with disinterest - maybe even contempt - for the genre. Unless I missed it, there wasn't even a mention of Michael Moorcock

I am really surprised (and happy) to see someone post a Trollman track on here, that's depths of the music underground I don't see plumbed by RPG people

Social media burnout is a big factor for me. Another app, another thing on the 'to-do' list.

A difficult thing about illustrating is straying from your recognizable style and having it catch on....This recent series seem to be falling mostly flat. There's alot that goes into making images....these 6 represent about 40 hours of drawing over the past 9 days. Social media engagement is odd

These have been my favourites of the styles I've seen you use for what it's worth. The set seems to form a really cohesive tone and mood, rainwashed low key fantasy. Anything subtle or with low saturation colours seems to garner little interest when I post it too but this is my taste

Got to be one of my favourites so far, great blend of abstraction and detail
